About The Traders

The Hurstbridge Traders Association is the representative body of the Hurstbridge traders. The traders are committed to maintaining the integrity of Hurstbridge as a friendly, community focused township that provides a comfortable mix of old and new and a range of products that satisfies the needs of residents and visitors alike.

The Association manages the funds generated by the Marketing levy to engage in co-operative marketing and promotion activities to raise the profile of the village and encourage local residents to shop locally.

 Marketing activities includes a range of promotional and business development activities that have been made possible by the marketing levy. This includes:

  • Regular newsletter to traders
  • Business directory
  • Hurstbridge village website
  • Wattle Festival coordination and promotion (NB. HTA support for the Wattle Festival is additional to Council’s grant for this community event)
  • Local advertising and special promotions campaigns
  • Autumn promotional activities
  • Christmas promotional activities
  • Business development – seminars, speakers, etc
  • Administration expenses to deliver above activities
